DIRECTOR OF MENTAL HEALTH SERVICES
Na’Tasha obtained a BA Degree in Social Work from California State University Fresno and a Master in Counseling Psychology from Argosy University. She later passed her licensing exam and is now a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist. She has experience in the field of counseling since 2000 and has been working as a Mental Health Clinician/Therapist working in the public schools in Richmond, CA, providing school-based therapy to the children and their families since 2010. Her passion for the mental health field developed early on in life based upon her personal life experiences, growing up in the projects of West Oakland, and being surrounded by drugs, violence, and constant trauma. These experiences led her to realize the impact negative experiences can have on one’s lifespan if not treated with the proper support and guidance. This drove her to want to be a part of making a change in people, families, and communities.
